Song Of The South

VHS

Live action combined with animation, and a lively soundtrack featuring the Academy Award®-winning song "Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah," made this film a hit with audiences nationwide. The story centers on Johnny, whose parents' marriage is in trouble. When Johnny is taken to live at his grandmother's plantation, he meets Uncle Remus, who teaches him about life with animated stories featuring Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear. Uncle Remus' stories, and friendship with a local girl, help Johnny through this difficult time. But when he's accidentally gored by a bull, it will take more than Uncle Remus to save Johnny.
